Supported by Fiera Milano Exhibitions Africa, the Tomorrows/Today section spotlights emerging voices shaping the global art conversation — artists working at the edges of medium and idea. To have Mbari Memorial recognised there, on African soil, meant everything.
What cannot be returned, must be reconceived.
The win marks a milestone in a journey that has run from the Venice Biennale to the British Museum — and now toward a first solo show during Frieze week in London.
